KEN KOSHIO AND WORLD YOUTH VISIT EXCHANGEASSOCIATION OF ARIZONA (WYVEAA) INVITE THE PUBLIC TO HIROSHIMA CALLING
A TRAVELING POSTER EXHIBIT PROMOTING PEACE, EDUCATION, ART AND CULTURAL EXHANGE.

The cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki experienced the Atomic bomb in 1945.
The two cities are now offering Atomic Bomb poster exhibits for public display to every state in the U.S.

The Arizona traveling exhibit, Hiroshima Calling is sponsored by the World Youth Visit Exchange Association of Arizona (WYVEAA), a 501(c) (3) organization, in partnership with Ken Koshio Project.
Hiroshima Calling will travel to the State of Arizona and State of New Mexico from May through June, 2010.

HIROSHIMA CALLING 2008 EVENT

Mr.MunakataThe Indigenous Preservation Society of Hiroshima, a traditional taiko music group founded by Itsuki Munakata, will accompany the posters adding a unique, artistic and historic perspective to the exhibit.
Mr.Munakata is a survivor (Hibakushya) of the Atomic bomb - he was just 5 years old at the time. Mr. Munakata will bring 3 members of his taiko troupe from Japan to share stories, art, traditional taiko music and Hiroshima tunes with the people of Arizona.
There will be many highlights along the way, including a unique collaboration with Native American and Arizona artists near the Grand Canyon.
It is important to note that Mr. Munakata is a well known Shinto Priest and NOH artist, recognized across Japan.@

This travelling exhibit, including the art and music performances, will be full of life and will captivate audiences.
