Ken Koshio presents “PEACE CONCERT – Weaving a life”.
The theme of this concert is “Weaving a Life”.
In our woven lives, the empty are the very places where we can see with new eyes, where we can look behind the day-to-day weaving for a moment to see our deeper truths and peace within.
Koshio’s desire is to express the art of drum beats and roots of or indigenous spirit are intertwined to celebrate and experience the cultures and generations. Taiko in Japanese means “drumming beats” (太鼓) and “ancient time” (太古). Since ancient times, Taiko has connected our ancestral expression from the past to the future.
Taiko creates "life beats" from a past living tree.
